️ DS INSIGHT
Stage 2 delivered another intense opener: punchy climbs and seaside crosswinds fractured the peloton, bringing GC contenders to the fore. Van der Poel’s explosive finish confirmed he is a true challenger for the yellow jersey. Meanwhile, Pogacar and Vingegaard showed form, but Ineos appears under pressure after missing key splits. Alpecin’s dominance over two stages signals early strength in both sprint and GC ambitions.
